Recently the organization Future Possibilities had their graduation for the students involved in the program. We first wrote about Eric Stolly and his involvement in this great program back in February which you can read here for more information about it. Eric is a kid coach for the organization, which means he spends time with students helping them excel and develop life skills.

In the graduation ceremony, all students were recognized for their goal achievements, and received a trophy for their hard work. They also got to meet Columbus Crew soccer player Kei Kamara who was a special guest at the event.

Future Possibilities is a nonprofit organization that was founded by Dave Kaufman who is the president and CEO of Motorist Mutual. Kaufman had the idea that kid coaches could help 4th and 5th grade students learn how to set and reach goals by working with them on a weekly basis. This year the program involved 5 Columbus city schools, and nearly 50 students participated in the program this year. It was a great success!

If you would like more information on Future Possibilities like how to donate, or how to get volunteer, you can visit their website at http://futurepossibilities.org/
